Healing Colors collects and creates handmade art kits, cards, books, toys, and crafts to deliver to children in need of a smile. Each item is made with care by volunteers and reflects the message that kindness and creativity can heal hearts.

About the founder
Hi! I’m Hellen Ardines, the founder of Healing Colors.
I was born and raised in Panama and moved to Miami just three years ago, where I began rebuilding my life from the ground up. Adjusting to a new country and learning a new language wasn’t easy, but art became my way to express myself and find peace through change.
During my junior year at John A. Ferguson Senior High School, I realized I wanted to turn that same comfort into something that could help others. Inspired by my dream of becoming a pediatric surgeon, I created Healing Colors to bring hope, creativity, and love to children in hospitals and shelters.
Through each drawing, card, and handmade gift, we remind children that they are seen, loved, and never alone.
